Project: Characterization and Performance Optimization of Trenched 3D Silicon Detectors
About Andrew Klein
This project aims to characterize and optimize trench-isolated 3D silicon detectors to be used in high energy particle physics experiments. Before implementation in laboratory experiment, it is critical to characterize the functional integrity of the sensors following exposure to radiation. Characteristics such as device capacitance, leakage current, and internal electric field geometry will be evaluated as a function of radiation dose.
