About Marylene Mey

My research examines how anxiety may independently affect the brain’s response to reward using EEG recordings and psychological measures from 124 participants. By analyzing neural signals linked to positive feedback, this project aims to clarify whether anxiety contributes uniquely to reward processing beyond the effects of depression and anhedonia. This work could improve our understanding of emotional disorders and support the development of more precise diagnostic and treatment approaches.
