Project: Developing a lexical database for an indigenous Amazonian language
About Molly Boone
Secoya, the language of the Aido-Pãi people in the Amazonian rainforest, is currently classified by UNESCO as “definitely endangered”. My research focuses on aiding the development of a lexical database that will serve as a critical first step toward building a dictionary, which can in turn contribute to the Secoya language having a longer lifespan.
