About Ashley Olson
Fly genetics uses some of the tiniest beings to help understand the much larger scope of human genetics, and is currently helping researchers cure diseases and understand the hormones and genes inside the body. My project focuses on one hormone, and its effect can be seen by tracing the most important cells in the body, stem cells. The profound impact of studying neuroscience is important for biology and medical researchers, and this is why it is so important to me.
