About Paloma Moore

On the Western coast of Alaska, the Yukon-Kuskokwim River delta holds great importance regarding carbon sequestration. My research is aimed towards understanding the transport, dispersion, and geochemical characteristics of sediments carried by the Yukon River Delta and its relation to rates of carbon cycling. I am so excited to be doing this research, as I believe the study of discharged sediments may very well lead to a deeper understanding of climatic events both past and present.
