About Vincent Sarracino
Vince was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and received his BA in Psychology and Spanish from the University of New Mexico. He is currently in the Executive MBA program at UNM and scheduled to graduate in September 2018. He has worked at UNM for almost 15 years, starting as a student employee at the Office of Sponsored Projects. After 4 years at OSP, he accepted a Contract & Grant Administrator position at the Center for High Technology Materials, where he assisted faculty with grant submissions. Before joining the College of Arts & Sciences, he was a Senior Program Manager for Research Administration at the UNM Cancer Center for 10 years. In this role, he was responsible for providing comprehensive advice, consultation, and facilitation to researchers on all aspects of grant preparation and submission. He also participated in the planning and development of major research grants and programmatic initiatives. In addition to pre-award, he managed post-award activity for funded projects including the Cancer Center Support Grant (P30) from the National Cancer Institute.
