As the leading research institute in New Mexico, UNM strives to recognize its student and faculty research initiatives. The University Libraries is a proud supporter of this and is happy to announce the five recipients of the 2023 Jim and Mary Lois Friday Hulsman Undergraduate Library Research Awards. 

This prestigious award aims to shine a light on both emerging and advanced research in undergraduates. The award accepts original research projects completed by individuals or groups in all formats including, research papers, design portfolios, compositions, posters and digital projects.

“We pride ourselves in supporting students throughout their entire college career through our expertise, services, spaces, and collections,” said Leo Lo, dean of College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences. 

All recipients will receive a cash prize and their research will be added to the UNM Digital Repository.
