UNM Physics Day 2023 set for April 15

The UNM Department of Physics and Astronomy hosts its 5th annual Physics Day, Saturday, April 15 in the PAÍS building (Physics, Astronomy, and Interdisciplinary Science). This year, the research conference will include oral and poster presentations, a plenary talk, a physics demonstration, and awards ceremony. In addition, lunch and dinner will be available for attendees.
“UNM Physics Day is a celebration and recognition of the importance of our undergraduate research,” said Physics and Astronomy Chair Richard Rand. It gives students a forum to present their work and hone their skills, Every year I am so impressed with what the students have accomplished. It leaves you with a great feeling. It's a really fun day.”
