About Muhammed Saeed
My research focuses on understanding how metalloporphyrins—versatile compounds with unique electronic properties—behave when they transition from liquid solutions to solid-state. My research focuses on creating and optimizing thin films of these compounds using spin coating techniques and characterizing their magneto-optical properties through advanced spectroscopy methods. This work is significant because controlling the organization and orientation of metalloporphyrins in solid materials could lead to great insights and applications to fields such as in materials science, optoelectronics and quantum computing.
