About Braeden Fields
I'm very excited to continue my research this semester with the help of the ASSURE program since it will allow me to deepen my experience and contribute to the scientific community. My research is focused on understanding and analyzing astrophysical SiO masers. I specifically work on matching generated data with the observed spectra of SiO masers to understand the conditions that create them. By furthering our understanding of masers, we can gain an insight into the conditions of the galactic bulge of our Milky Way, which may allow us to understand how the Milky Way and other similar galaxies formed.
