About Jordyn Suber
I am honored and grateful to be selected as a recipient of the ASSURE Grant. At UNM, I am studying International Studies and Linguistics with a concentration on diplomatic studies because of my continued passion for diplomacy, international cooperation, and mechanisms for human expression and connection. I am pursuing research opportunities that apply to these interests, and I am currently researching how the historical and political use of the word “reconstruction” is used in various international realms, which allows me to focus on the pragmatic uses of language within the realms of international politics and history.
