About Logan Ballou

I am very grateful to be awarded the opportunity to work as a member of the ASSURE cohort again this spring to continue the work I began with Professor Rosa Vallejos in the fall. While working with Dr. Vallejos I have been granted the opportunity to join her on a 3-week fieldwork trip to the Peruvian Amazon to assist with data collection from the Secoya people. I aspire to perform my own linguistic research in Latin America someday and the ASSURE program is a meaningful way for me to explore this passion.
