Project: Neural Oscillation Disruption in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder

Neuroscience research and clinical applications of such research are at the heart of my academic interests. The research I will conduct analyzing disrupted neural oscillations will test the hypothesis that Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) disrupts the dynamics of dentate gyrus neural oscillations. FASD are a set of neurobiological and behavioral abnormalities in offspring exposed to alcohol prenatally.
